Do you want to start something new but don’t feel ready?
Have you noticed that when it’s time to take action and do what you set out to do, there’s just something holding you back?
Maybe you want to finally start your online business, passion project or launch a new product or service to make more money. Or maybe you want to make a big change or transition in your business or life.
Whatever it is that you want to start, when it’s time to make the first move, you say to yourself, “It’s just not the right time”.
Ahhhhhhh. This secretly gives you relief because it feels like a valid excuse for you not taking action right now.
I’ve learned that when you feel resistance to take action on something you know you need to do, it’s because you’re waiting for something to happen first before you start. I’ve experienced this too many times to count and so have many others entrepreneurs I know.
I can think back to when I first started my online business. When it was time to claim my expertise as a lifestyle strategist, I hesitated because I had the “imposter syndrome”. Don’t know what that is?
I basically felt like a fraud and thought to myself, “who am I to teach people how to live a fabulous life? What makes me qualified to do this work?” And for a long time it stopped me from doing the work I was meant to do in the world. Eventually, I got over it and conquered my worst enemy living between my two ears.
I felt the same resistance to get started right before launching my website, hiring my creative director, buying premium business trainings and even launching my signature program, Live the Fabulous.
If you’re resisting doing what you know you need to do to take your business and life to the next level, I have a question for you.
What are you really waiting for?
I want you to think about this one for a second! And if you’re not sure–I’ve got an idea of what could be going on and the exact solution to help you get started now.
You’re waiting for something to happen first before you’re ready to take action. And I’m here to tell you that what you’re waiting for may never come.
I’m going to share something super powerful and it will CHANGE the way you approach starting ANYTHING new in your life going forward.
Anytime you’re wanting to start something new, I want you to take this with you wherever you go in life and never forget it.
This is what will separate YOU from the rest.
This is what will help you get the results that you want and ultimately help you live your definition of a fabulous life.
The “THING” you’ve been waiting for is…
That’s right. You’ve been waiting for permission to start.
If you’ve been stuck for weeks, months or even years because you haven’t felt ready to take the next step, I’ve got something for you!
THIS is the moment you’ve been waiting for. I’m here to tell from the bottom of my heart that…
You are more than good enough.
You are qualified.
You are worthy.
You are ready.
You can start right now.
Start whatever it is that you’ve been wanting to start. Start where you are now, with what you have. Start even if you have fears, self-doubt and uncertainty. Just start.
You may never feel completely ready, most of us never do! But starting before you’re ready will open up avenues for amazing things to happen in your business and life.
With this said, keep in mind that you DO NOT need external validation from me or anyone else to get started. You do not need permission from a source outside yourself.
You can’t wait for validation because the truth is that the validation you seek may never come from who you want it to come from. I’ve been through this. I’ve waited for my family, friends and mentors that I admire to give me permission to go for it. And you know what, I never got it in the way I wanted it.
If I would have waited for “them” to give me validation and permission, I wouldn’t be where I am today. Only you have the power to move things forward, no one else.
If you’re in this situation now, don’t beat yourself up. Instead, get excited about your new discovery and use it to your advantage.
Write Yourself a Permission Slip.
(…seriously, do it if you have to!)
You’re ready when you say you are. Just just have to decide.
You’re ready the moment you say you are,
P.S. Once you commit to starting, write down the very first step you need to take to put your plan into action. Don’t get overwhelmed with the entire process, just start with the very first step and do it. It’s best to break down your big dream, project or transformation into small, actionable steps. Then start working. You got this!
